St. Mary's Food Cupboard

Although St. Mary's food cupboard is closed during the month of August so that the staff can have a much needed vacation, hunger does not take a vacation. More than 35.5 million Americans don't have enough food according to the Department of Agriculture. 36% of them live in families where someone works. The working poor, retired individuals, and those who have lost hteir jobs have to choose between rent, electricity, medicine, and groceries.
